InstaFire Winter Uses
It’s just you, the mountain and freshly fallen powder. Away from the roads; away from the crowds; the day just can’t get better, but … it can get worse. All it takes is a tweaked ankle, and your idyllic afternoon just turned complicated. Perhaps your need is more simple. Maybe your backcountry snowboarding has you wanting a cup of hot cocoa before heading back up the ridge. With InstaFire, you can boil water right over a mound of InstaFire poured on the snow, or use it to start a survival fire with one match. Either way, you will be glad that you brought a few pouches of InstaFire with you.
InstaFire burns hot and clean, and one pouch gives you enough fire to dry out even snow-covered wood. InstaFire. Don’t leave the road without it.
Need a hot cup of soup or a small fire to warm you up? It will only take a minute. InstaFire not only instantly lights, but it will also burn damp, wet wood. It is the fastest and most convenient way to start a fire, and the best part is that it is environmentally friendly.
A broken down sled can mean an unexpected night exposed to the elements. However, when you are toting InstaFire, the only exposure an unexpected night may bring is a crackling fire that provides warmth, food and security.
One of the advantages to InstaFire is that it burns from the top down, and it has insulating qualities. This is why you can easily light it on the snow, and why the snow doesn’t immediately start melting. When building a fire on the snow:
- Stamp down an area in the snow to give your fire a more stable base.
- Pour a mound of InstaFire right on the snow. Don’t spread it out; this diminishes the insulating qualities of InstaFire that keep it from melting the snow beneath.
- Light the InstaFire from the top with a match or lighter. It will light right away and give an even, clean flame.
- Add wood if desired. Don’t worry if it’s wet. InstaFire burns hot enough to dry out the wood.
- Periodically, stir the InstaFire to make sure that you burn the entire product
Snowshoeing enthusiasts are ecstatic because they can now enjoy their winter walks and keep warm, dry and fed. Weighing less than a pound, the Weekender (6-pack of single-use pouches) won’t slow anyone down, but it will warm them up … even when the wood is wet.
Enjoying a trek through the backcountry has never been so hassle and worry free.
InstaFire’s patented blend of inert minerals, recycled wood and paraffin makes it possible for you to build a fire right on the ice. Don’t worry about not having wood for fuel; even wet or snow-covered wood will dry out and burn beautifully when placed over a mound or pouch of InstaFire.
